Coil Compatibility Guide
Coil Compatibility Guide
Use this Vapoureyes NZ guide to check which replacement coils or pods are compatible with your existing device, pod, or tank. Coil fitment can vary by model, tank version, and pod generation, so always confirm the coil family, resistance, and device name before use.
Find your device or tank
Search for the name printed on your kit, pod, tank, or packaging. Brand names alone are not enough.
Match the coil family
Check the coil range name, such as GTX, XROS, PnP, Z Series, or Caliburn G/G2.
Confirm the resistance
Confirm the Ω rating and device support before fitting the coil or pod.
Search coil and pod compatibility
Search by brand, coil family, resistance, device, pod, or tank name. Results update automatically as you type.
Resistance alone is not compatibility
A 0.8Ω coil from one family may not fit a different device or tank. Always match the coil series and device/tank first.
Pods and coils are different
Some devices use replaceable coils inside a pod. Others use sealed replacement pods with a built-in coil.
Cross-compatible tanks need care
Some coil families fit multiple tanks. Check the exact tank version before use, especially with older or similar-looking products.
Compatibility FAQs
Can I use any coil with any tank?
No. Coils are usually designed for a specific coil family, pod, or tank system. Some tanks share coil compatibility, but fitment should be confirmed before use.
What does Ω mean on a coil?
Ω means ohms, which is the coil’s resistance. Your device must support the resistance of the coil being used.
Are replacement pods and replacement coils the same?
Not always. A replacement coil is fitted into a compatible pod or tank. A replacement pod may include a built-in coil and be replaced as a full pod.
Why does one device show several coil options?
Some devices support multiple resistances within the same coil family. The coil family still needs to match the device, pod, or tank.
What should I do if I am unsure?
Do not force the coil or pod. Contact us with the device name, tank or pod name, and coil packaging details so compatibility can be checked.
