Big Changes Are Coming to Vaping in NZ

Let’s Talk About What That Means for Us – and for You.

We’ve always believed that the best conversations start in your inbox — with graphics often a little over-the-top, smothered in some brightly-coloured goo and exploded all over your screen to reveal a discount you just can't say no to. This has been my life for the last 7 years, creating the majority of these email-outs for you — and you guys have been the best audience we could ever ask for.

Over the years, our emails have been a direct line between us and our Vapoureyes community — a space to share our latest drops, pass on exclusive deals, and talk all things vape. But soon, that’s about to change.

🏷️ No More Discounts, Promos or Loyalty Rewards

This one stings. As part of the new law, all price promotions, loyalty programs, discount codes, and giveaways will be banned.

That means Dripcoins — our way of saying thanks to you — are going away.
Please redeem any remaining Dripcoins before May 31st, 2025.

After that, we legally can’t offer:

•Points-based rewards

•Sale pricing or % discounts

•Free gifts with purchase

•Referral bonuses or promotions of any kind

We’re gutted. But we’re also hell-bent on keeping the good stuff coming — with top-notch service, brains full of vape know-how, and one of NZ’s juiciest ranges. Oh, and we slashed prices on our local e-liquid lineup. Go have a nosey here — your wallet will thank you.

🔒 Say Goodbye to Product Images & Displays

From June 17th, 2025, new government regulations mean that vape products can no longer be displayed online or in general retail stores. That includes product images — which will soon disappear from our website entirely.

Only Specialist Vape Retailers (like us) can continue to display products inside their store — and even then, they must not be visible from the outside.

So, if our website starts to feel a little more like a mystery box… now you know why. We’ll still give you all the product info we can — but gone are the days of browsing by flavour pic or colourful bottle art.

This is one of the biggest shifts we’ve ever had to make — and we know it’s going to be a frustrating one. We’ll be doing everything we can to make the shopping experience easier and more intuitive for you, even without images.

🚫 Disposable Vapes Are Being Banned

One last thing to keep in mind: from June 17th, disposable vapes — meaning any device that can’t be refilled or recharged — are being banned in NZ.

If you’re using disposables, now’s a good time to transition to something compliant — like the puk. device. It’s refillable, rechargeable, and it’ll still be around after the changes take effect. Plus, the flavours are top-notch.
